Denis Beausejour completes our mini-series on the Covenant God made with his people.
We will be hosting our annual Easter Egg Search and Scramble on Saturday, March 30th. This is a wonderful event starting at the Parish Center and goes from 8:30am – 10:30am. It includes a breakfast served by John Cowell and company and a great egg hunt followed by a presentation of the Easter story made by our very own children.
Check out the preview of that presentation here: http://mariemontchurch.org/mariemont-church-easter-storybook/
3500 years ago God kept watch over the Israelites as He led them to freedom out of Egypt. “Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come.” (Exodus 12:42)
2000 years ago, on the same night, Jesus kept watch over us as He prepared our great Exodus from Sin to the freedom of God’s Spirit. He called for His disciples to: “Keep vigil and pray with me that you might not fall into temptation.” (Matthew 26:41)
You are invited to join in a night of remembrance, worship and communion as we take a night to honor the Lord who keeps watch over us as He rescues us by keeping watch ourselves and praising His Name.
Families are more than welcome with kids of all ages. There will be worship, Scripture reading and communion.
We hope you can join with us!
We are looking for a few people to help our team on Sunday mornings with either sound or visual slides. If you have a knack for computers, soundboards, or visual arts please contact Paul Rasmussen at paul @ mariemontchurch.org to get connected. We look forward to serving with you!
Pastor Denis Beausejour continues our series on the Covenant by diving into the Ten Commandments and the great God was preparing for His children.
Paul Rasmussen continues our series on the “Covenant” by looking at the story of Abraham and his son Issac.
Zak Kijinski starts our mini series on the “Covenant” as a part of the bigger story of God. He will focus on the difference between a contract and a covenant.
